Your responsibility as a leader is to improve individual employee performance, set individual and team goals and provide feedback to each team member.  This course will address the best approach to setting goals, creating performance improvement plans (when needed) and coaching for success

 

Learning Objectives
  1. Distinguish between the three phases of the performance management process, Planning Performance Goals, Tracking and Giving Feedback, and Performance Evaluation

  2. Practice giving positive and constructive feedback using the DESC technique

  3. Learn what motivates various team members you lead and how to maximize each person’s performance

  4. Identifying performance deficiencies and actions needed and creating a Performance Improvement Plan
